social parasite Lyrics - Alice In Chains

Enjoy the best Alice In Chains song lyrics!

You say you don't like the way we look
Well fuck off
I ain't some dying dog that you can kick
So fuck off
It's so easy to fall into that hole
And you're the one who cast me in that role
If you loved me would you call me a social parasite
And who's the one to tell me whether it's wrong or right
You say you don't like the place I live
Well get out
There ain't no vacancy in my bed
So get out
It's so easy to fall into that hole
And you're the one who cast me in that role
If you loved me would you call me a social parasite

And who's the one to tell me whether it's wrong or right
If you loved me would you call me a social parasite
And who's the one to tell me whether it's wrong or right
(1, 2, 3, Go...)
You say you don't like the way we look
Well fuck off
I ain't some dying dog that you can kick
So fuck off
It's so easy to fall into that hole
And you're the one who cast me in that role

And who's the one to tell me whether it's wrong or right
If you loved me would you call me a social parasite
And who's the one to tell me whether it's wrong or right

Artist Information

Profile:The Seattle grunge movement of the late eighties spawned many a band, and Alice In Chains was one of the most well-known, as well as one of the more traditionally metallic (more so than they are given credit for). Their crooning harmony vocal style has been imitated by many bands over the last decade, certainly enough to qualify them as an influential band. Well-publicized drug problems (mostly centering around Layne Staley) surfaced as early as the Dirt era, making in rather plain that the band was probably not going to survive long term. They have been dormant for several years, during which time guitarist Jerry Cantrell has embarked on a successful solo career.

Vocalist Layne Staley was found dead in his apartment on April 17th, 2002.

Layne Staley: Vocals
Jerry Cantrell: Guitars, vocals
Sean Kinney: Drums, percussion
Mike Inez: Bass, guitar.
