wide eyed girl lyrics by Eurythmics

wide eyed girl Lyrics - Eurythmics

Enjoy the best Eurythmics song lyrics!

She was a wide eyed girl
Of a tender age.
Just moving out of her sensitive
phase.
She said
"I love you baby it's for always
And I don't care what the teacher
says."
When she walked out
Through the streets of Rome.
All of the Italians wanna take her
home

Sing with the song of Eurythmics, Wide Eyed Girl lyrics!

All the brown little babies
With the slicked back hair
Sayin' "Prima amore... wow!"

"I'm sayin' something
Are ya listening to me?"
"Don't you walk away when I'm
Communicating with you!"
"She's goin' clickin' clackin'
Down the road in them high heeled
shoes"!
"Mona Lisa!!!"

Artist Information

Profile:Very successful British synthpop duo: Annie Lennox (b. December 25, 1954, Aberdeen, UK) and David A Stewart (b. September 9, 1952, Sunderland, UK). They first recorded together as members of new wave band The Catch, who would change their name to The Tourists and enjoy two UK top ten hits in early 1980, but disband before the year was out. In 1981, Lennox and Stewart made their debut as Eurythmics (they were particularly adamant that the name was a single word and definitely NOT "The Eurythmics"), though they struggled to gain recognition at first, only breaking through with their sixth single "Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)". This was the turning point of their career, and they continued to be one of the leading synth groups throughout the eighties.
