| Profile: | Hades Almighty was formed by Jørn (guitar) and Remi (drums) in 1992 in Norway and originally called Hades. They were later joined by by Janto (bass, vocals) and Nagel (guitar) in 1993 and began working on their first demo "Alone Walkyng". They were signed to Full Moon Productions and Nagel was replaced by Stig. In 1994 they released their debut album "Again Shall Be".
In 1996 "Alone Walkyng" was re-released by Wounded Love. After a long time of silence the band returned with their second full-length "Dawn of the Dying Sun" which was released in 1997. The release got them on various tours and they even played in USA and Mexico. In 1998 they changed name from Hades to Hades Almighty and began intensive rehearsals and they also played at "Wacken Open Air" in Germany.
In September 1998 the band entered the Prolog Studio in Dortmund (Germany) and recorded "Millenium Nocturne" which was released by Hammerheart Records in 1999. The band then went on various tours with bands such as Mayhem, Immortal and Benediction. In 1999 Stig also left the band.
The band released "The Pulse of Decay" in 2001 through Psycho Bitch.
