Profile:

Singaporean Death/Black/Thrash Metal act Impiety was formed in 1990 by Shyaithan (bass, vocals), XXXul (guitar) and Iblyss (drums). Heavily inspired by bands such as Sodom, Morbid Angel, Possessed etc. the band eventually released their first demo, "Ceremonial Necrochrist Redesecration", in 1992. The following year a deal with the label Shivadarshana was made and XXXul was replaced by Leprophiliac Rex. The 7" EP, "Salve the Goat...Iblis Exelsi", was then released in 1994 and shortly after Abyydos (guitar) joined the band. Work then began on the bands first full-length album, "Asateerul Awaleen". Recorded in 1995 and released in 1996, the album received excellent reviews and the following year an MCD, "Funeralight", was recorded but had to be released by another label as Shivadarshana shut down. Iblyss was kicked out and Abyydos was forced to leave because of military duty. New members, Fyraun (guitar) and Dajjal (drums), were then recruited and several live shows were then played. In 1999 the bands second album, "Skullfucking Armageddon", was recorded and released. Kravnos (bass) joined the band as live session member along with Dagoth who had replaced Dajjal. A split with Profanatica was also released that year. In 2000 Fyraun was arrested for possession of drugs before major touring in Europe and South East Asia but luckily two members were found, former member XXXul and Demonomancer (bass). After the tour Dagoth was replaced by Fauzzt. Several tours followed and in 2001 they were signed to Osmose Productions and both Demonomancer and XXXul left the band. Fyraun, who had just been released from jail, then rejoined the band and Shyaithan then took up the bass for the recording of the third album. "Kaos Kommand 696" was then released in 2002 and featured the vocals of Ustumallagam of Danish Black Horror Metal band Denial of God. More tours followed in 2003 where Fyraun and Fauzzt left the band. They also left Osmose Productions that year. In 2004 Oscar Garcia (drums) and Antimo Buonanno (guitar) joined the band and a split with Surrender of Divinity was then made. Eduardo Guevara (guitar) eventually joined the band and the bands fourth album, "Paramount Evil", was released.
