Judas Priest rode the wave of what was termed the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal, along with artists like Iron Maiden, to find fame around the globe. They found even more fame by getting sued when some teenagers who had been listening to their "Stained Class" album decided to commited suicide. Singer Rob Halford left the band in 1992 to form a new group called Fight. In 2004 he rejoined his former band.
