mass appeal madness Lyrics - Napalm Death
Enjoy the best Napalm Death song lyrics!
Tell me, assure me, I really can't believe your dishonesty.
Dissention, seeking attention, yet segregation from the ones' that
really cared.
Tell me, assure me, I really can't believe your dishonesty.
Cash styled deadhead, no conscience or opinions.
Material gain bar happiness means shit.
It means shit.
Mass appeal madness eats your brain. False influence like a leach.
Sing with the song of Napalm Death, Mass Appeal Madness lyrics!Sucking dry your veins.
Public eyes see fit your second face.
Freakshow - fooling those who imitate.
Clever marketing to dominate. Screwing those who gave you your big
break.
And when the bubble bursts, exposing your selfish crap.
You'll cry for sympathy, we'll just sit back and laugh.

Artist Information
| Profile: | Formed in 1982, Napalm Death were originally one of the bands that defined the UK hardcore thrash/punk sound of the mid-late 1980s, along with bands such as Extreme Noise Terror and Sore Throat. The band has gone through many line-ups, and many former members have remained significant figures in a variety of musical scenes, both guitar-based and also more electronic/experimental based.
Although their debut album "Scum" features appearances by Justin Broadrick (who was also a member of Fall of Because, the band that later became Godflesh, at the time) and Nik Bullen (later part of Scorn), the first "proper" and lasting line up consisted of Lee Dorrian (vocals), Bill Steer (electric guitar), Mick Harris (drums) and Shane Embury (electric bass).
By late 1989, Lee Dorrian, whose vocals epitomised the early Napalm Death sound, had left to form another band (doom metal band Cathedral) and focus on his label Rise Above. Bill Steer also left to concentrate on his other band, Carcass. Dorrian was replaced by former death metal/grindcore band Benediction's vocalist Barney Green, and an American guitarist, Jesse Pintado, was recruited from fellow Earache label-mates Terrorizer.
Mick Harris left the band some time later and has since been involved in a plethora of solo and joint projects/collaborations as Scorn, Lull, Quoit etc. Over the years, Napalm Death pioneered the grindcore sound, also going in a more death metal direction.
