the volume of neglect Lyrics - Napalm Death
Enjoy the best Napalm Death song lyrics!
Speculate freely
begrudge me intensely
Lacking a conscience
lacking intelligence
Lesser than nothing
Lower than everything
As you drain our vitality
To a mundane reality
A form of therapy
Without compensation
A vague psychology
Free from obligation
intercept the negligence
accept the consequence
Amongst Barbaria
Mass hysteria
Opposite in a sign to abide
When the future is ours to decide
We continue to watch and observe
Sing with the song of Napalm Death, The Volume Of Neglect lyrics!Just to find out what purpose it serves
Paralyzed? A spectacle for all to see
Happiness within our grasp, but out of reach
Volume of neglect
forcibly expressed
Volume of neglect
forcibly expressed
Devastate a silhouette, calm and serene
Abandon/ an systematic insane routine
Volume of neglect
forcibly expressed
Volume of neglect
forcibly expressed
Opposite in a sign to abide
When the future is ours to decide
We continue to watch and observe
Just to find out what purpose it serves

Artist Information
| Profile: | Formed in 1982, Napalm Death were originally one of the bands that defined the UK hardcore thrash/punk sound of the mid-late 1980s, along with bands such as Extreme Noise Terror and Sore Throat. The band has gone through many line-ups, and many former members have remained significant figures in a variety of musical scenes, both guitar-based and also more electronic/experimental based.
Although their debut album "Scum" features appearances by Justin Broadrick (who was also a member of Fall of Because, the band that later became Godflesh, at the time) and Nik Bullen (later part of Scorn), the first "proper" and lasting line up consisted of Lee Dorrian (vocals), Bill Steer (electric guitar), Mick Harris (drums) and Shane Embury (electric bass).
By late 1989, Lee Dorrian, whose vocals epitomised the early Napalm Death sound, had left to form another band (doom metal band Cathedral) and focus on his label Rise Above. Bill Steer also left to concentrate on his other band, Carcass. Dorrian was replaced by former death metal/grindcore band Benediction's vocalist Barney Green, and an American guitarist, Jesse Pintado, was recruited from fellow Earache label-mates Terrorizer.
Mick Harris left the band some time later and has since been involved in a plethora of solo and joint projects/collaborations as Scorn, Lull, Quoit etc. Over the years, Napalm Death pioneered the grindcore sound, also going in a more death metal direction.
