ultraviolet (light my way) Lyrics - U2
Enjoy the best U2 song lyrics!
Sometimes I feel like I don't know
Sometimes I feel like checkin' out
I want to get it wrong
Can't always be strong
And love it won't be long...
Oh sugar, don't you cry
Oh child, wipe the tears from your eyes
You know I need you to be strong
And the day is as dark as the night is long
Feel like trash, you make me feel clean
I'm in the black, can't see or be seen
Baby, baby, baby...light my way
(alright now)
Baby, baby, baby...light my way
You bury your treasure
Where it can't be found
But your love is like a secret
That's been passed around
There is a silence that comes to a house
Where no one can sleep
I guess it's the price of love
I know it's not cheap
(oh, come on)
Baby, baby, baby...light my way
(oh, come on)
Baby, baby, baby...light my way
Sing with the song of U2, Ultraviolet (light My Way) lyrics!Oh...ultraviolet...
Ultraviolet...
Ultraviolet...
Ultraviolet...
Baby, baby, baby...light my way
I remember
When we could sleep on stones
Now we lie together
In whispers and moans
When I was all messed up
And I had opera in my head
Your love was a light bulb
Hanging over my bed
Baby, baby, baby...light my way
(oh, come on)
Baby, baby, baby...light my way
Ultraviolet...
Baby, baby, baby...
Baby, baby, baby...
Baby, baby, baby...light my way
Baby, baby, baby...light my way

Angry, conscious and focused, U2 started a "war with words" which was brough forth by their powerful music. After garnering a large fanbase worldwide as well as critical praise, U2's Bono lead them on a crusade around the world to fight injustices with their music and interviews. After having Steve Lillywhite produce their first three "political" albums, U2 looked to a more commercial sound. They hired music legends Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno to produce "The Joshua Tree" and "The Unforgettable Fire" albums which both sky-rocketed them onto the charts all over the world. After the 80s ended U2 re-invented themselves once again, this time adapting to the evergrowing electronic presence in popular music with "Achtung Baby". Incorporating elements of electronica into their rock construct, U2 created a new sound that was fresh and innovative. Bono and the band used their deservedly gained notoriety even more than ever expressing their opinoins on social matters on a global scale. Continiuing on into the 21st century, they are still as large and as powerful politically while still expressing themselves through the music that channels their passions.
