violent revolution Lyrics - Uk Subs
Enjoy the best Uk Subs song lyrics!
Violent revolution is here alright it's real
Sometimes I'm violent sometimes I loot and steal
You don't need excuses there's just one thing you know
Well there's so much depression one day it's bound to explode
So this is violent revolution that's what we feel today
I walk in the city I get grief day and night
Got this feeling so bad I could cut the air with a knife
Your heart's filled with hate and your feelings you can't hide
And the sad thing about it is you've got no tears left to cry
Sing with the song of Uk Subs, Violent Revolution lyrics! So this is violent revolution what we are feeling today
This is the age of a miracle and machine
They build you frustration when they promised you a dream
And if you have the power no matter if they're left or right
They deprave you, exploit you so one day you turn round and fight
So this is violent revolution that's what we're feeling today
Yeah that's what we're feeling today yeah that's what we're feeling tod

Artist Information
| Profile: | The UK Subs were another group that emerged from the scene at The Roxy in London in 1977. Founder and Lead Vocalist Charlie Harper was playing in R&B and pub rock groups before being influenced by bands like The Damned to turn to punk.
The band was based around Harper's growling Cockney vocals with Nicky Garratt on Guitar, Paul Slack on Bass and a variety of drummers. Although adopting punk stylings, the bands work was still heavily influenced by R&B, albeit played fast. Their sound was most similar to Sham 69 or The Angelic Upstarts, although without the skinhead following
Whilst never having a big hit, several singles made the lower reaches of the Top 30 in the late 70s, including "Stranglehold", "Tomorrow's Girls", a cover of The Zombies classic "She's Not There" and "Warhead". The first two studio LPs "Another Kind of Blues" and "Brand New Age" also made the lower reaches of the album charts.
The band split in 1983, but has since reformed and continues to gig intensively
