Stacy ?Fergie? Ferguson and Justin Timberlake was once an item, romantically that is, to the knowledge of a chosen few.

Which explains why the chemistry between the two was so fluid when Justin Timberlake hooked up with the Black Eyed Peas to sing on their breakthrough hit Where Is the Love?

Justin used to date Fergie in the late 90?s, the singer the Peas roped in to sing on Shut Up, who then became a full-time member of the band. Fergie openly admits she was the older woman in Timberlake's life before Britney Spears.

"We met at a company party," Fergie says.

Fergie?s former group Wild Orchid were on the same record label as *NSYNC, which led to her meeting Timberlake.

"I told him he was too young for me but when we started talking about hip-hop I realized we had a lot in common. That was one of the reasons we got along when we started dating. And one of the bands we used to talk about were the Black Eyed Peas. So it's weird, it's kind of a foreshadow of the future."

"He was 16 and I was 23," she says. "It was back in the *NSYNC days. It was before he got real heavy with Britney, right before that.

However, Fergie said the relationship wasn?t too serious.

?We were having so much fun together. We had a really good time. We got along really well. We remained friends - obviously I still see him,? Fergie said adding that ?I get along with Cameron (Diaz) really well. They're a cool couple and fun to hang out (with)."

Fergie is currently dating Josh Duhamel who stars in the television show Las Vegas.
