Due to unspecified "personal issues", the blues-oriented hardrock band, The Black Crowes have "released" their keyboardist Eddie Hawrysch, according to the band?s publicist.
Further information were not immediately available.
Rob Clores, who played with Rich Robinson on his solo outing, will take Hawrysch's place on their group?s tour in North America. Robinson is Black Crowes' guitarist. According to press release, the band's tour will begin September 7 in Richmond, Va.
Hawrysch started playing with bluesman James Cotton, and sat in with Muddy Waters when Cotton's band opened for the Delta legend. He joined the Black Crowes in 1991 making his recording debut on the band's sophomore album in 1992 "The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion".
The Black Crowes have sold over 15 million albums and were acclaimed as "The Most Rock 'n' Roll Rock 'n' Roll Band in the World. They are listed at #92 on VH1's "100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock".
