Lil Wayne Says He?s Better Than Jay-ZLil Wayne once called Jay-Z as his favorite MC but said that he is the "best rapper alive since the best rapper retired," when Jay-Z went into hiatus.
But now that the Hova is back, the Weezy has changed his stance by saying he has declared that he is still the best even now that his idol once is back on the playing field.
He took the issue on Jay-Z being the savior of hip-hop disapprovingly commenting that "I don't like what he's saying about how he had to come back because hip-hop's dead and we need him," Lil Wayne said.
"I'm better than him," Lil Wayne said in the new issue of Complex magazine, which features the Cash Money Millionaire on the cover with Travis Barker. "I'm 24 years old. ... I'm 13 years deep with five albums and 10 million records sold."
In the article, Wayne also had some disparaging words for the Clipse, Pharrell Williams and Young Buck, and said he took issue with Jay rapping about being "hip-hop's savior."

The album was leaked on the internet on October 17, 2006. The album, with cover of Lil Wayne birdman picture, debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 with 176,000 copies sold.
