Chris Brown Keeps Hands Full with Movie & Music
Year 2006 top pop artist Chris Brown is currently in talks to work on the comeback album of Michael Jackson, which will be his first since 2001's "Invincible."

"We got a chance to meet at the World Music Awards and we're talking to his management about when we can set up a date to be working on his album," Brown said.

"It would be an honor and a blessing for me to work with my idol. He's one of the reasons I do my music."

Jackson's comeback album, which is tentatively due before the end of the year, will be produced by Black Eyed Peas principal will.i.am, who in 2006 produced tracks for Justin Justin Timberlake, Fergie, Snoop Dogg and Nas.

Chris Brown is likewise hands full with other commitments from the music scene to the movies and free pictures of Chris Brown.

The video for the single "Shortie Like Mine" by rapper Bow Wow, featuring Chris Brown mp3 premiered on BET's Access Granted on Wednesday October 11, 2006 and was the New Joint on BET's 106 & Park a day later on October 12, 2006.

The shorty like mine_Bow Wow ft. Chris Brown video features Canadian singer, Keisha Chante and Angela Simmons, the daughter of Rev Run. The shorty like mine_Bow Wow ft. Chris Brown single has already managed to chart the Billboard Hot 100, the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and the Billboard Hot Rap Tracks.

The Chris Brown mp3 debuted at number 80 on the Billboard Hot 100 being the top debutant of that week and has so far peaked at number 9, pictures of Chris Brown and Bow Wow peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and number 1 on the Billboard Hot Rap Tracks.

The single debuted on BET's 106 & Park chart at number 10 on October 17, 2006 just 2 days after its premiere. This is Bow Wow's third single and Chris Brown's fourth to reach the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Chris Brown is also busy promoting his movie with Ne-Yo "Stomp the Yard."

While Ne-Yo plays Rich Brown, the guy who eventually becomes the friend of the main character in the movie, whose name is DJ (Columbus Short), Chris plays Duron.

Chris' character, as he describes it, is the sensible one out of all the knuckleheads - the one that tries to be older than his brother, trying to make him think about his choices and the obstacles that he got to go through.

Chris Brown said that in making movies, he tends to stay away from the singing and the dancing roles, because people can already see that in his other talents - the music videos and on TV.

"As far as acting, I really want to show people that I can act, and [it] is a part of something I want to do not like just fans asking show me pictures of Chris Brown," he said. "Stomp the Yard" is about DJ, a street dancer from L.A. who winds up moving to Atlanta and enrolling in this college, then joining a fraternity.

What makes it different from other dancing themed movies like "Take the Lead" and "You Got Served" is that it is a movie first. and not like those other movies that's dance, dance, dance, a little bit of dialogue and more dance.

"It's all a movie. It's not something that's a regular cliché movie, where you end up going, OK, we just want to fast forward to see them dance," Ne-Yo said.

When asked about preferences between acting and singing, Chris Brown said he can't deny that acting is something that he wants to venture into but then his number one passion is music, so for him music will always be in the driver's seat, and acting is just another avenue of art.
