Evanescence Sober with New Album
Little Rock, Arkansas has something big up the sleeve. And this is none other than the alternative rock band, Evanescence. The band is back with a new album for 2006, entitled The Open Door.

The band started officially back in 1998, with Amy Lee and Ben Moody as frontliners. Moody and Lee are longtime friends, having met at some camp in Arkansas when they were still youngsters. The first time they met, Moody had been listening to Lee playing a song on the piano, and the two hit it off with their common interest in music.

Writing songs became a passion for the duo. One thing led to another, and they started recruiting members to form the Evanescence of today.

The year 2003 brought about the first major album of the band, entitled Fallen. The lead singles My Immortal and Bring Me to Life topped the charts upon the release of the album. Bring Me to Life became such a hit that the band decided to make a bliss mix Evanescence version of the track. This bliss mix Evanescence opened the doors to more fans for the band.

My Immortal, with its two versions, appealed to the receiving public as well. With the track having a piano solo in one of the versions, requests for free piano tabs for My Immortal by Evanescence began brewing on the web. With free piano tabs for My Immortal by Evanescence, listeners can learn to play the song on the piano themselves.

Another song from the album that caught the fancy of fans is Hello. It's also one of the mellow songs on the album. This single made its way into the mainstream with Evanescence sheet music Hello requests.

Despite the success of the first album, differences among the band members could not be reconciled. Some claim the differences arose from the controversy about the band being labeled as a Christian rock band. These eventually led to Ben Moody's departure, who was replaced by Terry Balsamo from the band Cold.

This did not stop the band from making more albums at all. Anywhere but Home, the band's live album, came out in 2004, with the tracks Going Under and My Last Breath leading the way. Going Under - feat. Evanescence and Evanescence My Last Breath Demo helped the album earn $500,000 when it was first released. The track Going Under - feat. Evanescence in particular catered the fans with an extraordinary music video. The video shows the band playing for a crowd of zombies and Lee drowning in a body of water. The drowning scene suits the lyrics of the song, "?drowning in you."

2006 finished with Amy Lee's birthday Evanescence on December 13, and Evanescence's 2nd studio album, The Open Door. The design of the cover is very gothic, with its fancy Evanescence The Open Door font. Before the album was released, the band engaged in many promotional activities for it. Amy Lee even performed the Call Me When Your Sober Evanescence track on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, a popular primetime talk show. After that performance, many fans searched the web for Evanescence Call Me When Your Sober mp3 downloads. Fans were not content with the mere Evanescence Call Me When Your Sober mp3 at all. They had to get the album itself. The Evanescence Call Me mp3 led to more sales for the latest album. This is not a big surprise because the Evanescence Sober mp3 track has very catchy lyrics.

The Evanescence Call Me When Your Sober track is not the only song to look out for in the album. There are more awesome tracks, like The Only One, Lithium, Good Enough, and The Last Song I'm Wasting on You. The Last Song is actually a bonus track. Evanescence Lithium sheet music, Evanescence Good Enough sheet music, and Evanescence music notes are available on music websites worldwide.
