According to rapper/producer Kanye West, one of the best video was not even nominated during the recent MTV Video Music Awards.

Nominated for best pop video for "Gold Digger", West says his detailed Evel Knievel skit "Touch the Sky" which highlighted Playboy bunny, Pamela Anderson, was better than that.

"Gold Digger" starts off the with Jamie Foxx?s nostalgic cry about a woman who takes his money when he is in need. Before the song closes, Kanye warns the women who are out in pursuit for a poor young guy who has ?that ambition... look in his eyes."

Talking backstage before his performance at an exclusive concert, six-time award Grammy winner Kanye was quoted saying "It didn't get any nomination, but it is one of the most memorable videos of the year for me."

His videos were not a way to improve his sales, West said. And he even mentioned although "Touch the Sky" was his favorite video, the song was not an enormous hit.

"I'm not trying to be No.1; I'm trying to make something that lasts forever, something that is really memorable, " he said. Kanye believes he is one of the most brilliant musician recording today.
