Listen to New Songs from Nickelback On Tour!Nickelback's latest piece of work has bagged another award for the band! Tagged Favorite Band at the People's Choice Awards, Nickelback has undoubtedly taken the music scene by storm.
This Canadian band formed in 1995, with Chad Kroeger, Mike Kroeger, and Ryan Vikedal as the first members. But have you ever wondered how they got their name? Biographies of Nickelback would actually show that they got this from a spiel Mike's brother frequently said to his customers at a coffee shop. He would give the customer's change, saying, "Here's your nickel back." Thus, Nickelback was born.
Although Nickelback started making albums as early as 1996, it wasn't until their third album Silver Side Up that the band became a household. The song How You Remind Me caused an upstream in album sales for the band. Nickelback by Too Bad, another track on the album, made rounds on the charts as well. In fact, a lot of people who listen to Nickelback songs think that How You Remind Me and Nickelback by Too Bad are two of the awesome tracks on Silver Side Up.
The band released another album, The Long Road, in 2003. Two of the lead singles are Someday and Do This Anymore. This is when the band started to receive criticism. Talks of their songs having similar tone qualities circled the band. These songs in particular are How You Remind Me and Someday. Mike Kroeger explained that it is inevitable for a band to compose songs that have the same tone qualities. This should only be a problem when every song on every album has the same tone qualities.
The talks of criticism didn't deter fans from the band at all. They continued to listen to Nickelback songs. With this support, searches for lyrics to do this anymore by Nickelback became widespread. Album sales still made their way for the band. And when you listen to Nickelback albums, the concept of huge sales is very understandable.
Criticism did not stop Nickelback from making more music either. Just last year, they released another album All The Right Reasons. When you listen to new songs from Nickelback, you will discover that the band is indeed back for all the right reasons. The album includes Animals Nickelback, Far Away Nickelback, Nickelback Saveing Me, and Rock Star Nickelback, among others.
Animals Nickelback was only meant for promotion on mainstream radio. Released on November 2005, it quickly made its way to the #1 spot on the charts. Nickelback Saveing Me was released intermittently. It was released in America February 2006, and in Europe May 2006. Savin' Me may not have reached the #1 spot, but it reached #19.
Far Away Nickelback was also released sporadically; February 2006 in Australia and Europe, June 2006 in Canada, and July 2006 in America. Nickelback So Far Away did way better than Savin' Me. In fact, Nickelback So Far Away reached the 8th spot on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. The song was quite a hit that fans raided the web for Nickelback Far Away music downloads free. With these Nickelback Far Away music downloads free, fans could listen to the song anytime they want.
Rock Star Nickelback is one of the later tracks released from All The Right Reasons. The track was released August of 2006, and quickly climbed the Billboard charts. Unfortunately, the Nickelback Rock Star track did not do well as the band expected. It did not climb the charts as far as Far Away did. The reason frequently attributed to this is the lack of a music video for the song. For reasons unknown, no Rockstar music video by Nickelback was ever made. Things might have gone better if a Rockstar music video by Nickelback was made. Nevertheless, Nickelback Rock Star still managed to do well in the rock charts. So, just to be clear, there's no need to perform Nickelback + Rockstar + videos searches on the web.
Despite this, Nickelback was able to pull its act together, with a promotional tour for All The Right Reasons. They will be touring all over America during the first months of 2007. This February 22 in particular, there will be a Nickelback concert in Spokane, Washington. Tickets can be bought at a range of $164 - $475. Scoring tickets for the Nickelback concert in Spokane earlier just might mean much savings for you.
