There has been a lot of hype about Britney Spears recently. But she has been under the tabloids' and the media's criticism ever since she came out of the music industry. It all started in the end of 1998, when a then 17 year old Spears appeared in the video of her debut single "Baby One More Time." The young singer was dressed in a Roman Catholic Schoolgirl outfit doing sultry dance steps. This provided her with an international success and a top rate in sales.

From this point onward, the star's every move was under a microscope. But as they say, bad publicity is still publicity. And all of the media attention garnered her record sales and a huge following.

During this time, although Spears was lacking in records she was still very present in the prints, on TV and especially on the Internet. Everybody wanted a piece of Britney Spears and were craving for news, photos and updates on the star. Spears also provided these hungry fans with controversies surrounding her marriage, her pregnancy and eventually how she handled her kids.

But the media came into a Britney Spears frenzy when news reported of a Britney Spears divorce from Kevin Federline and when she started hanging out with Paris Hilton. There were now a flood of Britney Spears Paris Hilton pictures everywhere. Britney Spears clubbing pictures were easy access from the Internet and even pictures of Britney Spears Hilton Lohan were to be found.

The icing on the cake however was the surfacing of Britney Spears x-rated photos. It leaves the fans not wondering anymore what does Britney Spears look like in her smallest bikini. When Spears started going out to clubs with the socialite Paris Hilton, the paparazzi never took their eyes off the pair. Every night out was well documented and was plastered on the tabloids and the Internet the next day.
