Taking Back Sunday Loud as Ever NowFrom thumping sounds to swinging microphone acts, Taking Back Sunday has definitely gone all the way with their latest installment. Dubber Louder Now, this title suits the band?s musical prowess all too perfectly.
Taking Back Sunday, from Long Island, New York, is currently comprised of 5 members: Adam Lazzara, Fred Mascherino, Eddie Reyes, Mark O?Connell, and Matt Rubano. Former members include John Nolan, Jesse Lacey, Shaun Cooper, and Antonio Longo.
So, how did the band come up with the name taking back Sunday? As Eddie Reyes puts it, it?s sort of a willful act of taking Sunday with you. Sunday, being the day when you should sit back and relax with your family, as per the Bible.
The band started out in the year 1999, with the original lineup not including vocals Lazzara. After the release of the band?s 1st EP, Lazzara replaced Antonio Longo, and has been with the band ever since.
Thus came the release of their debut album, Tell All Your Friends, in 2002. This album brought forth the tracks taking back sunday great romances of the 20 cen, cute without the e taking back Sunday, and your so last summer taking back Sunday. John Nolan?s sister, Michelle Nolan, provided backup vocals for songs off this album, although taking back sunday great romances of the 20 cen, cute without the e taking back Sunday, and your so last summer taking back Sunday did not include her voice talents. And it was then that taking back Sunday experienced their first major conflict.
Rumor has it that Adam Lazzara and Michelle Nolan had been dating, and that Lazzara had cheated on her. One thing led to another, and John Nolan ended up leaving the band. In all the fuss, Shaun Cooper left with Nolan as well. They moved on to create the band Straylight Run, with Michelle Nolan on vocals.
This didn?t stop the band from releasing their sophomore album, Where You Want to Be, in 2004. On top of that, taking back Sunday also opened acts for bands on tour, like Blink-182. This move exposed the band to a lot more fans, even leading to sales of taking back sunday mp3 tracks and Taking Back Sunday Wallpaper downloads.
But in 2006, Taking Back Sunday released their 3rd installment, which instantly became a massive hit! Louder Now features the hit tracks MakeDamnSure, Liar, and Spin. make damn sure taking back sunday is the band's first track off the album, and has been dubbed as the band's most successful track to date. The concept of the music video for make damn sure taking back Sunday is quite interesting as violent scenes are shown in transition, changing into happy scenes.
After MakeDamnSure came yet another strong track from the band, Liar. Liar Taking Back Sunday, just like MakeDamnSure, has a fascinating concept for its music video as well. The liar taking back Sunday video focuses primarily on Adam Lazzara, who is being subjected to a lie detector test. Images then flash through, suggesting that these are the events that must have happened, according to Lazzara. At the end of the lair taking back Sunday video, the rest of the band members discuss how credible Lazzara?s account of events is. Fred Mascherino then says that he doesn?t believe Lazzara at all. This implies the concept of Taking Back Sunday : it takes one to know one.
The video for taking back sunday liar was released late September of 2006. liar taking back Sunday has also been made available for digital download. What?s more, the band came up with a promotion for the track. When you buy the single liar - taking back sunday, you get two bonus tracks off Louder Now, too! A superb deal. No doubt!
Rumor has it that the next single to be released is spin taking back Sunday. But people just might have an earlier dose of spin taking back Sunday since the track is included in the latest Madden NFL 07 video game.
