Oklahoma based rock band Hinder aims to bring back the 80?s style rock music genre by living the lifestyle hoping to be the band to get people into rock again.

Cody Hanson, who writes the bulk of the band?s material with lead vocalist Austin Winkler said ?we live the lifestyle. That's what rock is supposed to be about--rebellion and having fun. We've been blessed with the opportunity to play music as a career, so we might as well take advantage of it and have a good time.?

Hinder lips of an angle has overtaken its first single ?Get Stoned? making its way up to the pop charts.

Hinder lips of angel is a power ballad, the second single off of the Extreme Behavior album of Hinder, and has been the band's real breakthrough single, already having reached #3 of the Billboard Hot 100 and the top three of the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.

Hinder lips of an angle lyrics deal with the singer describing his feelings when his assumed ex-girlfriend calls him late at night. Both are supposedly in other relationships at the time but the singer tells of how his feelings and vice versa are still very much hooked for each other.

More than once, hinder angel lyrics has a reference to the call being secret is made, and the singer expresses concern of a fight ensuing as a result. The song concludes just as it began, with the singer questioning to why she is calling so late.

Hinder was formed in Oklahoma City more than four years ago, when guitarist Joe Garvey and drummer Cody Hanson discovered Austin Winkler singing for a cover band at a college dorm party.

?Winkler has the kind of charisma very few people have and that unique voice. You can't really compare him to anybody," Cody said.

Signed under Universal Records, the band has toured with Theory of a Deadman as well as with Buckcherry. Recently, they have been touring with Three Days Grace, Hoobastank, and Nickelback.

It is Winkler who infuses Hinder's often-bitter sentiments of regret and forgetting the past on songs like the tongue-in-cheek "Bliss" and "Better Than Me" with flesh-and-blood humanity.
